Jets-R-Us was founded in 2007 by Adriaan Bakker, Oloff Schoeman and Boet Denysschen.

Our aim is to organise and report on flying events throughout South Africa and neighbouring countries.

Over the past 8 years we have organised events at Gariep Dam, Bultfontein and more recently at Jan Kempdorp.

Unfortunately Adriaan only managed to attend one of our events as he sadly passed away early in 2009, just before our second event. This was a huge shock and loss to the Jets-R-Us team, however we managed to continue our events in his legacy. The Gariep and Bultfontein Fly-in’s held mid-year are in memory of him.

The Jet event held annually around October is a memorial fly-in dedicated to the memory of all pilots with folded wings.
